K. S. Devyatkina, mother of Stas Avdeev (11 years old), the participant of an educational trip to Munich, March 2014
When will we come here again? My son spent these spring holidays in Germany. This was the first foreign training-vacation experience for our family, not to mention the fact that a child had never gone anywhere before without parents. But the program of stay seemed so tempting, the accompanying teachers of the Russian side – the meeting one – were so reliable and professional, that it was impossible to resist. And we never regretted about it!
Arina Nemkova, Director of the Foundation for Support and Development of Russian-German Relations
THE RUSSIAN-GERMAN CENTER FOR MEETINGS AT PETRIKIRCHE, SAINT-PETERSBURG (Stiftung “Deutsch-Russisches Begegnungszentrum an der Petrikirche Sankt-Petersburg”)
The GISB GmbH is a partner of the Foundation for Support and Development of Russian-German Relations “The Russian-German Meeting Center of St. Petersburg” since 2011. More than ten joint programs for children and adolescents aged from 9 to 17 were conducted in recent five years. This age is the most demanding from the point of view of leisure organization. During school holidays, schoolchildren do not very readily agree to study, but programs of the GISB GmbH are formed in such a way that the training was interesting, unobtrusive and extremely useful even for the most tired ones for the academic year. A successful combination of recreation, cognitive and educational modules in a good company under guidance of young and energetic professionals dispelled doubts of even the most demanding young talents. Parents note the growing motivation to learn German, a successful and unobtrusive way of overcoming communicative barrier and intercultural stereotypes. If you want to go fast – go alone, if you want to go far – go together. So argued antique sages. It is worth to learn German-speaking Europe together with the GISB GmbH: is a reliable partner, a friendly team, a willingness to resolve any problem and joy of working together. Good luck and fair wind. We will try to set sails correctly.
